Whether you’re from a truck, HGV, automotive, plant, or rail background, This is your opportunity to work on a modern and varied fleet, including hybrid and electric vehicles, supported by ongoing training as technology and vehicle systems continue to evolve.**What you’ll be doing:**· Maintaining and repairing our fleet of buses to DVSA and Stagecoach safety standards· Diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults· Carrying out routine inspections, servicing, and occasional roadside repairs· Supporting apprentices by sharing your knowledge and experience· Working safely and efficiently as part of a collaborative depot team**What we’re looking for:**· NVQ Level 3 in HGV or PSV Maintenance (or equivalent)· Hands-on experience working on commercial or specialist vehicles· A safety-first attitude and strong attention to detail· A team player with good communication skills· Previous experience working on buses or large passenger vehicles (desirable)· Full training provided, including health & safety, equipment use and cleaning standards· Competitive hourly rates and opportunities for overtime· Benefits including generous pension scheme, 22 days holiday, free travel for you and a companion, and a wide range of discounts including retail & leisure· Career progression, many of our colleagues have grown into engineering, driving, and management roles· A supportive, inclusive working environment where your wellbeing matters**Our working environment**Stagecoach is proud to be an inclusive employer where everyone is respected and supported.
