The Opportunity As our new Paraplanner, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our Financial Planners and helping deliver outstanding, personalised advice to our clients. You’ll work on complex cases, lead cashflow modelling, and produce high-quality reports that make a real difference to our clients’ lives. You’ll also mentor junior team members, share your technical expertise, and help us maintain our five-star service and compliance standards. What You’ll Do Collaborate with Financial Planners to develop tailored financial strategies and cashflow models Produce high-quality Suitability Reports with clear, personalised recommendations Attend client meetings to run cashflow modelling scenarios, provide technical support, and capture planning information Ensure accuracy and compliance in all calculations (including CGT, pension allowances, carry forward, chargeable gains, and tax-efficient withdrawals) Take responsibility for complex and high-value cases within the team Act as a point of escalation for technical queries from other Paraplanners and the Client Services team Support the Planning & Operations Oversight with workflow management and quality standards Mentor and coach more junior team members, sharing knowledge and reviewing their work Deliver occasional knowledge-sharing sessions within the team Keep up-to-date with relevant tax rules, pensions legislation, and regulatory requirements Contribute feedback to improve our templates, processes, and efficiency What You’ll Bring Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (minimum) 3–5 years’ paraplanning experience, ideally with a similar client demographic Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, IHT, and cash flow modelling Highly conscientious, detail-oriented, and focused on client outcomes Positive, proactive approach to teamwork and collaboration Strong written and verbal communication skills Bonus points for: Advanced Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, or working towards Chartered Financial Planner or CFP Understanding of evidence based investing Experience supporting and mentoring junior team members Confidence managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Why Join Us?
