Landscape architect - design lead

Job Description A well-established, independent consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering integrated landscape and environmental solutions is seeking an ambitious and experienced Landscape Architect to join their team as Design Lead.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the company's design portfolio and leading a talented landscape team.

The Role
The successful candidate will join an established landscape architecture team, taking a leading role in the design and delivery of a wide range of landscape projects. With a particular emphasis on supporting master planning and mitigation design for major infrastructure projects, as well as flood defense schemes, you'll work closely with planning, environmental, and engineering colleagues to deliver high-quality, innovative outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a portfolio of landscape design projects from concept through to site delivery.

Provide creative and technical direction across a range of scales and sectors.

Mentor and consolidate the existing landscape team, with a view to strategic growth.

Work collaboratively with internal teams and external clients, including engineering and planning consultancies.

Contribute to master planning and mitigation strategies for infrastructure and flood defense projects.
