About the Role:
Randstad Education is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants to join our network of schools across Worthing. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children in primary education, working closely with teachers to create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and supporting students learning.
* Provide one:on:one and small group support to students who need additional help.
* Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Assist with classroom management and behavior support.
* Prepare and organize teaching materials and resources.
* Support students with special educational needs (SEN) as required.
* Participate in school activities, events, and parent meetings as needed.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting.
* A patient, caring, and supportive approach to working with children.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are advantageous but not essential.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
