About the Role
The Head of Content Acquisition is responsible for the strategic direction and commercial success of our portfolio of secondary content and brands across digital and print formats. This role involves leading the Content Acquisition team to drive the evolution and development of secondary content, fostering a high-performance and high-engagement environment.
Responsibilities:
* Reinforce and evolve heritage brands and author relationships.
* Identify and drive opportunities for AI adoption in commissioning and licensing processes.
* Manage third-party licensing relationships to enhance products and services while mitigating commercial and legal risks.
* Collaborate with internal teams to align research offerings with strategic goals and differentiate our online research offerings.
* Build relationships with key market segments to meet customer and partner needs.
* Evolve the portfolio to achieve leadership in legal AI and improve efficiency.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in the commercial success of secondary content.
* Proven ability to lead and motivate teams through change.
* Strategic leadership to define long-term direction for secondary content. Brand champion to extend the value of historic products and content sub-brands.
* Willingness to innovate and incorporate AI into workflows.
* Advocacy for relationships with authors, trade partners, and key user groups.
* Data-driven decision-making skills to identify problems and find solutions.
