RG Consultancy are working with a large distribution business based in Middleton who are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance department. You will work within a busy finance department to manage and maintain the purchase ledger and report into the Purchase Ledger Supervisor. Up to 30 days holiday (rising with service) 8 bank holidays Flexible working hours Free onsite parking Workplace pension scheme Annual bonus scheme The Role Responsible for all purchase ledger duties, manage and maintain the purchase ledger Processing invoices (including stock and overheads) Processing employee expenses Petty cash management Dealing with supplier queries over email and managing the accounts payable expenses Daily banking Other ad hoc duties to support the Purchase Ledger Supervisor as required The Person An AAT qualification would be an advantage but not essential Strong IT skills and experience with SAGE and MS Excel Previous experience working in a busy or fast based purchase Ledger or similar role Confident communicator on the phone and via email Ability to deal with high volume work efficiently
