Activities Coordinator
Location: Richmond Village Wood Norton, Evesham Road, Wood Norton, Evesham, WR11 4TY
Salary: £12.40 per hour with paid breaks and excellent Bupa benefits
Contract: Permanent, Part time, including alternate weekends

As an Activity Co-ordinator, you’ll help us make a difference to our residents, ensuring they get the mental and physical stimulation they need to remain healthy, fulfilled, and happy — and you’ll have so much fun along the way.
We tailor our residents activities plan, so one day you could be helping put on musical acts, or days out; another day you could be putting on exercise classes, hosting an arts and crafts afternoon, or organising birthday surprises for residents.
You’ll help us make health happen by
* Identify engaging activities for residents through careful assessment, observation, and conversation, while keeping precise records.
* Connect with residents, their families, friends, and colleagues to gain a deep understanding of interests, abilities, and challenges and foster active participation.
* Support the Head of Activities in orchestrating special events (garden parties, concerts, excursions) and track budget and finances.
* Aid residents with personal tasks such as letter writing, shopping, and reading, and encourage engagement in individual hobbies.
* Regularly refresh and promote the activities program within the village and the local community.
Qualifications / Key Skills
* Previous experience organising events is advantageous, especially with elderly or vulnerable groups.
* Positive attitude, energetic and humorous nature to inspire residents.
* Empathy and friendliness with the ability to forge enduring professional relationships with colleagues, residents, their families, and the local community.
