Overview
Area Sales Engineer for Western England, M6 corridor and Wales. Home based/field based role managing the territory for industrial electrical connection solutions, switchgear, power distribution and ATEX products.
Responsibilities
* Develop and manage the sales territory across the Western England M6 corridor and Wales, building upon existing accounts and developing new business.
* Sell the company\'s full portfolio of industrial electrical connection solutions, control stations and ATEX products to End Users, OEMs, System Integrators, Panel Builders, distributors and wholesale resellers.
* Maintain and grow relationships with distribution partners and key accounts; identify projects and industry targets; work towards specification or preferred supplier status; manage opportunities through to order.
* Collaborate with internal teams to provide solutions and meet customer needs.
Qualifications
* Experience in the Electrical Industrial sector with a proven technical sales background selling electrical products and components; experience with niche manufacturers is desirable.
* Ability to identify projects and target industries, engage consultants and major contractors, and drive orders to completion.
* Technical qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience in the controls industry and related components, with commercial acumen.
* Willingness to be home based/field based; geography covers Lancashire to Swindon and includes Wales.
