The project!
As a Junior Designer you will assist in the end-to-end process from concept and design, through to production with a strong focus on development, across both the Shirting and Knitwear categories within the Hackett London collection.
What will the role entail?
* Assist the Senior Design Manager in all design aspects.
* Conduct trend research and analysis for multi product lines.
* An understanding of technical packages (tech packs)
* Manage the lab dip approval process for colour accuracy.
* Assist in preparing presentation materials for design reviews.
* Maintain an organised fabric library.
* Participate in fit sessions, document feedback, and update tech packs.
* Ensure all internal samples are well-maintained and organised.
* Manage the PLM system, including uploading tech packs and BOMs (following training).
Requirements
* Bachelors Degree in Fashion Design
* 1-2 years of experience in a similar position.
* High level of computer literacy, knowledge of PLM and CAD.
* Positive, focused, enthusiastic, with a strong work ethic.
* Proactive and self-motivated with a strong eagerness to learn.
* Passionate about menswear and British heritage design.
* Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborative teamwork.
