With a growing portfolio in the energy sector, the company is seeking a Design Manager to lead and coordinate design activities on civils-based substation projects. Your duties as Design Manager will include: * Managing and coordinating all aspects of the design process for civil engineering and substation projects. * Liaising with internal teams, external consultants, and clients to ensure seamless integration of design solutions. * Ensuring designs comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and health and safety guidelines. * Supporting tendering and pre-construction activities, providing technical input and risk assessments. * Overseeing design reviews, approvals, and value engineering opportunities. * Collaborating with project managers and site teams to ensure design intent is maintained throughout construction. * Leading design risk assessments and provide innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges. * Maintaining accurate records and documentation for design changes and approvals.
