Position Overview
We're seeking a proactive individual to support and enhance operational delivery across a range of client-facing and internal service functions. Working closely with the Managing Director, you'll be instrumental in maintaining the momentum of the business and ensuring day-to-day operations are seamless.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Coordinating technical field teams to meet project schedules and service appointments
* Overseeing operational resources including equipment, vehicles, and supplier coordination
* Monitoring project milestones and ensuring client satisfaction remains consistently high
* Enhancing internal processes and procedures to drive accuracy and compliance
* Acting as point of contact with clients to arrange site visits, handovers, and post-project follow-up
* Contributing to quote preparation and providing support with commercial documentation
* Supporting internal operations such as timesheet processing, training records, and compliance reporting
* Managing procurement schedules and ensuring stock levels align with project timelines
* Maintaining operational documentation for compliance, safety, and quality assurance
* Upholding Health & Safety procedures across all site and office functions
What We're Looking For
Essential:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in an operations or coordination role, ideally within a technical or construction-related sector
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Experience working in a collaborative, hands-on environment with wide-ranging responsibilities
* Strong IT proficiency - particularly in workflow tools, spreadsheets, and general office software
* Confident working across multiple stakeholder groups including engineers, suppliers, and clients
* Positive attitude, solution-oriented and able to thrive under pressure
Desirable:
* Familiarity with structured cabling, electrical installations, or telecom infrastructure
* Experience using project/job management tools (e.g. BigChange, simPRO, Joblogic)
* Knowledge of health and safety frameworks, audits, or ISO management systems
