We are looking for our first Product Owner to join our team. Our founder needs someone to help carry his vision forward, working closely in the short term to validate ideas and bring them to life, whilst owning the product roadmap fully.
Architextures helps architects and manufacturers visualise materials. Our web application creates seamless textures, CAD hatches and PBR (physically-based rendering) maps for construction drawings and 3D models. We are building a digital material library for the world and are well on our way with more than 500,000 active users around the globe.
About you
You'll be looking for a role where you can bring your existing skills to help us build our product function and drive the product into the future. You'll help uncover customer needs and prioritise the roadmap to deliver value to our users quickly. Our web app focuses on creating stunning graphics, so an eye for design and detail is a must.
You'll enjoy working closely with an experienced engineering team that wants a partner to help shape the product. Our engineering team will support you with estimates and technical decisions, freeing you to focus on customer needs and roadmap validation. Much of the future is about discovering what customers actually need rather than building features - you'll be the person talking to end-users and iterating based on their feedback.
What interests you
You'll have a keen eye for detail and a genuine interest in architecture, product design, and art. You enjoy working collaboratively, travelling and exploring the places you visit. We have a great space just outside the Glasgow City Centre, a short walk from Queen Street Station.
How we work
We're a small team and like to get together often for office social events and trips. We have a flexible work schedule and expect this role to be in the office a few days a week at least initially, with more flexibility as you own the product roadmap. In-person collaboration with the team will be high on your list of must-haves. We have a four-day workweek that starts on Tuesday, so every weekend is a long weekend.
