The Role
As a Senior Project Control Manager, youll have a role thats out of the ordinary. You will be working on of the nations most complex engineering projects, supporting the British naval Fleet.
Day-to-day, youll work closely with both Project and Programme Managers whilst leading a team of project controls professionals. You will be expected to develop strong relationships with a range of stakeholders, including the project team, wider functional teams, suppliers and customers. In addition, you will be expected to support with on-going development of the Projects Controls capability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, maintain, and own the project performance measurement baseline.
2. Provide accurate, timely management reports to internal and external stakeholders, enabling informed decisions by Project and Programme Managers.
3. Collect independent evidence to validate progress towards project success criteria.
4. Integrate and align project control tools across contract partners and subcontractors as needed.
5. Establish and maintain a robust Earned Value Management (EVM) system, generating detailed reports to ensure contract compliance and support decision-making.
