Class 1 Drivers
Rapier Employment Ltd is hiring experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers
Location: Welham Green, Hertfordshire
Days and Nights
Flexible shift patterns and start times
DAY SHIFT RATES
* Basic: £20.66/hour
* Overtime: £27.89/hour
* Bank Holidays: £61.98/hour
* Plus holiday pay
NIGHT SHIFT RATES
* Basic: £24.58/hour
* Overtime: £31.81/hour
* Bank Holidays: £61.98/hour
* Plus holiday pay
Driver Requirements:
* Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license held for at least 1 year
* Minimum 6 months of Class 1 driving experience
* CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
* Maximum 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
* Understanding of Driver Hours, Regulations, and the Working Time Directive
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate Class 1 vehicles safely and professionally
* Ensure timely delivery and collections
* Conduct thorough vehicle checks (pre- and post-trip)
* Maintain accurate delivery records and logs
* Comply with all traffic laws and safety guidelines
* Load and unload using roller cages when required
