A leading animal nutrition business is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Ruminant Sales Representative to join its growing team. This field‑based role focuses on developing strong relationships with beef and dairy farmers, maintaining existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities across the territory.
Responsibilities
* Manage and grow an existing customer base
* Promote and sell a range of ruminant feed products
* Provide practical on‑farm advice and support
* Develop tailored feeding solutions for customers
* Build long‑term relationships with beef and dairy farmers
* Identify new sales opportunities within the agricultural sector
* Keep up to date with market trends and customer needs
* Work towards agreed sales targets and objectives
Qualifications
* Knowledge of beef and dairy farming systems
* Good understanding of ruminant nutrition and feed products
* Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
* Self‑motivated and results‑driven attitude
* Ability to work independently and manage own territory
* Previous agricultural sales experience preferred
* Full UK driving licence
* Agricultural qualification advantageous but not essential
* Minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or equivalent qualification
* Legal right to work in the UK or valid visa permitting employment

* Salary £30,000 – £35,000 DOE
