Salary: £12.60 - £12.74 per hour
Annual: £24,242 - £24,514

Our Turning Point Scotland Services in South Lanarkshire are looking for people like you to provide individualised support to adults with a wide range of needs, either on a 1:1 basis or alongside others as part of a team.
TURNING POINT SCOTLAND SOUTH LANARKSHIRE ALCOHOL & OTHER DRUGS REACHOUT SERVICE
This service will support people over 16 with problematic alcohol & drug use through Assertive Outreach and Intensive Case Management, focusing on three key groups:
* Individuals who do not engage at any level;
* Individuals who sporadically engage, making outcomes difficult to achieve;
* Individuals who partially engage, focusing on medical treatment.
We are committed to helping individuals begin their recovery journey using harm reduction approaches. Safety is a priority, and we aim to involve families and communities to reduce stigma, increase engagement, and support individuals in their preferred treatment pathways.
The service will operate flexibly across South Lanarkshire, working in partnership with existing services such as CAReS teams and The Beacons. It will operate 7 days a week, including evenings and public holidays. Support is always person-centred, involving people who know the individual well, including family, friends, health and social care professionals, advocacy services, and staff.
Our Peer Practitioner role requires you to have lived experience with drugs or alcohol and a desire to use your experiences to help others. No prior work experience is needed; full training will be provided. We value respect, compassion, inclusion, and integrity, and will support you through the application process.
IT skills are required for all vacancies. Successful candidates may need to register with the SSSC within 6 months of starting.

This position requires a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. The role does not include personal care, cooking, or housekeeping tasks, nor will service users be involved in these processes.
