Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team at The Cabins.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare and early childhood education, with the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role requires excellent communication skills in English, as well as the ability to lead and manage activities that promote children's development and learning.
Duties
* Provide high-quality care and education for children in the early years setting.
* Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's learning and development.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
* Observe and assess children's progress, ensuring that their individual needs are met.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
* Maintain accurate records of children's development and share updates with parents.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
* Drive initiatives that promote positive behaviour and social skills among children.
Requirements
* Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare
* Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative.
* Knowledge of child development theories and practices is advantageous.
