Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Supervisor to oversee our bar operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a solid background in food and beverage management. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to health and safety regulations.
* Manage and train bar staff, fostering a positive team environment through effective leadership and team management.
* Develop and implement innovative drink menus while maintaining quality standards in food preparation and presentation.
* Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure stock availability while minimising waste.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the bar area.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth delivery of food and drink service.
* Engage with guests to provide outstanding service, address concerns, and enhance their overall experience.
* Maintain records of sales, expenses, and other operational metrics to inform management decisions.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably with restaurant experience.
* Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards.
* Previous supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and guest satisfaction.
* Familiarity with barista duties is advantageous but not essential.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
