Technical Cofounder Wanted – Help Us Make Betting Fair, Transparent & Safe
We’re building a disruptive betting start-up with the ambition to reimagine the gambling industry from the ground up. Our goal is simple: create a platform where betting is completely fair, non-predatory, transparent and safe.
This is currently a solo founder-led initiative — I’m now looking for a technical partner to join me as a true cofounder and help build from the ground up.
We believe the betting industry doesn’t need to exploit people to be profitable — and we’re proving that by taking an innovative, principled approach backed by strong technical execution and start-up agility.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re searching for a hands-on technical cofounder — someone ready to take full ownership of our product’s build and technical architecture, and who’s excited by the idea of building something radically different.
This is not just a dev role. You will be shaping the product, direction, and experience from day one. You’ll be a true partner in the business.
Core skills we value:
* Strong backend engineering experience (APIs, databases, systems architecture, scalability)
* Track record of shipping products quickly and improving based on user feedback
* Clear understanding of security, payments, and user data protection
* Ability to work autonomously, with high accountability and bias for action
Bonus points for:
* A background or deep interest in probability, statistics, or quantitative analysis
* Experience integrating external APIs (especially in gaming or fintech)
* Based in London (not required, but ideal for collaboration)
Where You Might Be Coming From
You could be:
* A high-performing backend engineer who’s built scalable platforms and wants more ownership
* A quant researcher or engineer from a hedge fund or trading firm who’s looking to apply their skills to something with positive social impact
* A developer at a gambling company who’s disillusioned with exploitative models and wants to help fix the space
* A graduate from a top university (e.g., Oxford, Cambridge, MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich, Imperial, UCL), with a strong technical portfolio and a desire to build something meaningful from the ground up.
We’re open-minded — what matters most is that you’re an exceptional builder with conviction, speed, and a strong ethical backbone.
