In this critical role, you’ll ensure the safe transfer of hazardous materials, support production continuity, and play an essential part in maintaining our high safety and environmental standards. How You’ll Help Us Grow
Ensuring Nufarm Health, Safety and Environmental standards are always adhered to.
Safely following defined process controls for the loading/unloading of various hazardous materials.
Following a pre-defined bulk tanker scheduling system to ensure Plants and Processes can run without interruptions.
Monitoring and sampling of chemical holding tank abatement systems.
Communicating across a wide range of people – Production Team; Logistics Team; Supply Chain Team; External and Internal Bulk Tanker Drivers.
Reporting of all hazards and identification of any procedural improvements.
Shunting of internal barrels in-line with various Plant processing requirements.
Could This Be You?
You’re a safety-conscious, team-oriented professional with a strong work ethic and a practical mindset. Ideally, you bring experience from a chemical or industrial environment, and you’re confident working within clearly defined processes, especially when handling hazardous materials. You hold GCSEs (or equivalent) in Math’s and English, which support your ability to follow technical instructions and maintain accurate records.
Physically fit and ready to take on a hands-on role, you’re comfortable working in an outdoor, operational setting, often on your feet and engaging with heavy-duty equipment. You thrive in a shift-based role and can adapt to a 4-on/4-off 12-hour pattern, including weekends and bank holidays as needed.
What sets you apart is your responsiveness, attention to detail, and your commitment to doing things safely and correctly. You’re a strong communicator who collaborates easily across teams—whether it’s production, logistics, or tanker drivers—and you’re not afraid to speak up when something can be improved. Above all, you’re someone who takes pride in supporting the smooth, safe operation of a vital part of Nufarm’ s production process.
