This role is part of Lenovo’s Global Future Leaders Program which engages high-achieving, driven students by immersing them into the world of a global technology powerhouse. In your first three years, as a GFL, you will participate in a cross-border/cross-organization rotation to engage with key stakeholders, gain deep insight into our organization, and develop comprehensive leadership skills while making a global impact. The Global Account SOP role will intertwine with the GFL program. In year one, you will train in both. Then once you get your feet on the ground in SOP, you will continue your leadership development with the Global Future Leaders Program through year five.
Global Accounts Strategy Office Program (SOP) - Bringing Smarter AI to the World
About SOP the Program (Multiple Positions Available!):
Join Lenovo’s Global Accounts Strategy Office Program (SOP)—a one-year leadership development opportunity for recent grads to gain hands-on experience in sales, strategy, and business transformation, while building foundational AI skills, working with AI-enhanced tools, and applying strategic thinking in AI-driven contexts to shape customer outcomes and accelerate your career in Lenovo’s global business.
SOP Program Highlights:
1. 12-month rotational program with exposure to both sales and consultative transformation roles
2. Training on Lenovo’s portfolio, customer engagement, solution-selling, and strategic planning
3. Direct collaboration with Lenovo and customer CTOs, senior sales leaders, and account executives
4. Development of strategy execution skills, turning customer vision into actionable outcomes
5. Opportunity to showcase innovative thinking and bring a fresh perspective to customer challenges
6. Strategic project work supporting the Global Strategy Office, contributing to initiatives that drive business outcomes
7. Global exposure and mentorship from senior leaders across geographies
SOP Key Responsibilities:
8. Support Global Accounts sellers in building and executing account strategies
9. Develop and present account plans that align with customer objectives and Lenovo’s portfolio
10. Work cross-functionally to solution Lenovo’s offerings and deliver transformation outcomes
11. Engage with customers at multiple levels, including executive (C-level) engagement
12. Translate business strategies into clear, actionable initiatives with measurable impact
13. Partner with the Global Strategy Office on key initiatives and projects, supporting Lenovo’s long-term vision
14. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer success and growth
SOP Qualifications:
15. Recent bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, technology, MBA or related field (Grad year 2024-2026)
16. Previous experience (internships, co-ops, or Global Accounts exposure preferred)
17. Strong interest in sales, strategy, and customer engagement with a consultative mindset
18. Understanding core AI concepts and how they apply to business strategy, customer outcomes, and consultative transformation initiatives.
19. High energy, highly coachable, and eager to accelerate career growth
20. Strong communication and presentation skills, with comfort in executive interactions
21. Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and work well both independently and in teams
22. Understanding of business drivers such as P&L, strategy development, and customer outcomes (or aptitude to quickly learn)

GFL - Global Future Leader Requirements:
Global Future Leaders positions are early-in-career level roles targeted at job seekers who have completed or are in the process of completing, their final academic year of educational requirements for highly competitive undergrad and Masters level students.
