We are seeking an experienced Psychologist/Psychological Therapist with the appropriate professional training and registration, as outlined in the Job Description, to play a key clinical leadership role within our multidisciplinary team.

The Role
As part of the Clinical Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering specialist psychological services for children and adolescents experiencing emotional and mental health challenges. You will work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues, contribute to assessments, interventions, and the ongoing development of evidence‑based practices.
* Deliver comprehensive and specialist psychological services to children, adolescents, and their families, addressing emotional and mental health needs.
* Contribute to multidisciplinary assessments and interventions, ensuring collaborative and holistic care planning.
* Undertake highly specialised clinical work, including urgent assessments, parenting support, and complex cases.
* Provide expert supervision and consultation to multidisciplinary team members, including junior medical staff and postgraduate practitioners.
* Engage in audit, research, and the monitoring of treatment outcomes using normed measures associated with CYP‑IAPT.
* Work in accordance with the CAMHS framework and Trust policies, ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice.
* Line‑manage and clinically supervise a postgraduate‑qualified psychological practitioner within the local CAMHS team.
Essential Skills And Qualifications
* Successful completion of a postgraduate training programme in psychological practice.
* Extensive experience working with children and young people presenting with complex, challenging, or disturbed behaviours.
* Proven ability to deliver skilled and complex interventions tailored to individual needs.
