Reporting to the Head of Group Finance, this role is central to our performance management framework, covering financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, analytics, assurance, insight, and reporting.
It focuses on transforming current processes across the FP&A community and shaping the strategic direction of our finance team and business. This position also serves as succession planning for the Director of Group Finance or a divisional FD, depending on the candidate's experience and performance.
What you will do as Head of Financial Planning & Analytics
Analytics and Assurance
* Develop advanced analytic tools for deeper financial insights supporting strategic decisions.
* Identify key drivers for Revenue, Cost, and Capital for assurance and insights.
* Provide independent analysis and timely financial recommendations.
* Ensure understanding of regulatory linkages, with robust controls and measures.
Planning, Forecasting, and Budgeting
* Own the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles.
* Collaborate with the business to develop aligned financial plans.
* Implement innovative forecasting techniques for market responsiveness.
* Lead the budgeting process with a focus on quality, flexibility, and efficiency.
* Produce reports to facilitate decision-making.
* Coordinate with the strategic planning team.
Finance Transformation
* Involved in transforming the Finance and Commercial departments.
* Work with the Plan To Perform team to refine FP&A transformation initiatives.
* Drive automation and standardization of performance reporting.
Stakeholder Management
* Exhibit strong communication and influencing skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.
* Build a collaborative FP&A community within Finance.
* Partner with the Strategic Business Planning team for long-term planning.

* Proven senior FP&A experience, ideally in large, complex organizations.
* Strong leadership, change management, and innovation skills.
* Expertise in analytics, reporting, planning, forecasting, and budgeting.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into action.
* Advanced skills in financial software and tools.
