Role Purpose
People Consulting is an integral part of KPMG’s Management Consultancy practice and a growing part of our business. This team helps to transform the performance of organisations by changing the way people are led, managed and developed. We focus on delivering the people agenda on large‑scale, complex change programmes and transforming the HR function by technology.
Responsibilities
* Lead large‑scale, complex consulting engagements with a Learning focus.
* Identify learning opportunities alongside other programmes (e.g., transformations, change) and grow our propositions and junior team.
* Increase capacity to support Advisory strategy through exceptional delivery on learning projects, supporting and developing team members, and business development.
* Scope, price and design client approach (with support from a Partner or Director), then lead delivery of this work.
* Lead/support business development and grow revenues from the existing work portfolio.
* Use leading‑practice problem‑solving methodologies to address client issues and structure projects.
* Collaborate with colleagues from other service lines such as technology, finance, customer, or analytics.
* Lead high‑quality analysis combining KPMG expertise and market insight with quantitative and qualitative analysis.
* Act as the main client interface, providing effective, credible, and timely communications with clients.
* Generate thought leadership, drive knowledge sharing and develop consulting skills within the team.
* Develop team culture, inspiring and empowering members and supporting their career development.
* Experience working in the Middle East or with clients in that region is a strong advantage.
Person Profile
Essential Experience
* Lead and manage other consultants, coaching and developing their career progression.
* Extensive and deep experience in people development, including design and delivery of large‑scale, complex regulatory‑driven learning programmes.
* Strong appreciation of and ability to advise on people‑related change, including core techniques such as leadership alignment, case for change, stakeholder identification and management, sequencing for the change programme, communication, engagement, impact assessment, and planning people transition. Experience with technology implementation, including user adoption, training, and awareness.
* Versatility across both Learning and Change disciplines.
* Regional expertise, particularly experience working with clients in the Middle East.
* Strong communication skills; proficient in written English, PowerPoint, Excel, and comfortable working face‑to‑face and via Teams.
* A collaborative mindset and a strong sense of curiosity, eager to research clients, stay updated on trends, and share insights.
