Job Description
3. Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
4. Assist with and prepare management accounts for a varied client base
5. Prepare and review corporation tax returns and support personal tax compliance
6. Support bookkeeping processes and review work using cloud accounting software
7. Liaise directly with clients, acting as a day-to-day point of contact
8. Respond to client queries and provide clear, practical accounting support
9. Review work prepared by junior staff and provide guidance where required
10. Support managers and partners with ad hoc accounting and advisory projects
11. Ensure work is completed accurately and in line with agreed deadlines
The Successful Applicant
12. Part-qualified or qualified ACA / ACCA (or equivalent)
13. Experience gained within an accountancy practice environment
14. Strong grounding in statutory accounts preparation
15. Exposure to corporation tax and basic personal tax compliance
16. Confident communicator with the ability to deal directly with clients
17. Organised, proactive, and keen to continue developing professionally
