Overview
Crown Artist Brush is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to take full ownership of the site’s financial management while acting as a key member of the local leadership team. This is a hands-on, strategic role with responsibility for financial control, reporting, compliance, forecasting, and decision support across the business.
You will also play an important mentoring role, supporting the development of the Financial Accountant and contributing to continuous improvement across finance and operations.
This position is offered on a part-time basis (24 hours per week) and would suit a qualified accountant looking for a senior, impactful role with flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
* Full responsibility for cash flow management, including regular forecasting and proactive risk mitigation
* Ownership of stock turn analysis, working with operational teams to optimise stock levels without impacting customer service
* Lead liaison with external auditors, planning and managing the annual audit process through to statutory accounts
* Ensure full tax compliance, including quarterly VAT returns and annual corporation tax submissions
* Support standard cost setting, annual budgeting, re-forecasting and longer-term strategic financial planning
* Provide financial insight on risks, opportunities and performance trends
* Lead monthly sales forecasting to support SIOP and align production, inventory and sales
* Evaluate the financial viability of new commercial and manufacturing initiatives and investment proposals
* Oversee day-to-day banking, accounts payable and receivable, including purchase ledger and debtor management
* Coordinate time and attendance administration and payroll gross pay calculations
* Support local and group audits, budgeting processes and statutory reporting
* Deliver ad-hoc financial and operational analysis to support decision-making
* Provide wider business support as required
Essentials
* Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
* Strong experience preparing statutory financial statements
* Experience working within an international group environment
* Proven team leadership or mentoring experience
* Strong analytical skills, including variance analysis
* High level of IT literacy, including ERP systems and advanced Excel
* Ability to constructively challenge stakeholders to drive better outcome
