Overview
We are recruiting for our 2026 UK Summer Placement Programme. We are seeking exceptional people who want to spend 8 weeks at our Fawley site, undertaking a project delivering both business value and personal development. You will work with managers, supervisors and recent graduates to apply your degree knowledge on a real-life business challenge and gain experience in a live operational environment.
What you will do
Placement students work in pairs or small teams to address a real-life plant challenge. You may design, coordinate, and analyse a plant optimisation trial or scope a small capital project. You will receive training, supervision and coaching, and have opportunities to interact with our Manufacturing team and experience world-scale Chemical Engineering operations.
About you
To be eligible for this role, you must:
* Be starting your final year in Autumn 2026
* Be aiming for a minimum of a 2:1 Bachelors in Chemical Engineering
* Be seeking to gain 8 weeks of paid Summer Placement commencing in July 2026
Successful candidates should possess a broad range of personal effectiveness and leadership skills, with the ability to facilitate and influence business decisions in a team environment.
