Axfar Recruitment are looking for Class 2 drivers for various Clients around the Lanarkshire and Greater Glasgow Area. Majority of the work will be Multi-drop work around the Local area. Both Cage and Palletised delivery work will be Available. Responsibilities Operate lorries safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transit. Maintain accurate delivery logs and complete necessary paperwork for each delivery. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while on the road and at delivery sites. Provide excellent customer service by being courteous and professional during interactions with clients.
