The Opportunity
You’ll join a close-knit finance function as an Accounts Assistant, where no two days are the same. From supporting purchase ledger activities to assisting with invoicing and resolving queries, you’ll play a key role in keeping the financial operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Do:
* Ensure invoices are processed accurately and on time
* Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on discrepancies
* Support accounts receivable and client billing
* Investigate queries from suppliers, clients, or colleagues and provide clear answers
* Maintain up-to-date records in the finance system
* Take on ad hoc projects that help improve processes and support the team
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in a finance or accounts-based role
* Strong attention to detail and confidence working with numbers
* Good Excel skills and comfortable using finance systems
* A proactive mindset with the confidence to communicate across teams
* Someone organised, reliable and keen to develop
* Experience with Sage X3 would be a bonus, but it’s not essential.
