G4 Supervisor, Operations
Job Brief
To provide support to administrative colleagues within the team. To provide high level, quality customer service and administrative support to enable the delivery of SQA products and services. This includes, generating and analysing reports to make data led decisions ensuring marking progress for components are on track to complete within agreed deadlines, and overseeing the reallocation of packets containing exam materials to appointees.

Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the work of Agency administrative colleagues
* Identify requirements and request resources to ensure that tasks are completed accurately and timeously and within SQA policies and procedures
* Provide administrative support to ensure activities are carried out accurately and according to plan and to ensure compliance with documented processes.
* Data entry: create and maintain records, standard reports and spreadsheets to ensure information is up-to-date, easy to access and accurate.
* Carry out filing of information to ensure it is stored accurately following relevant policies and procedures.
* Provide high levels of customer service in respect to queries ensuring responses are issued promptly, accurately and following SQA guidelines while maintaining key stakeholder relationships.
* Carry out numerical calculations.
* Communicate with internal customers via email.
* Communicate with external customers via phone.
* Maintain a tidy work area and comply with all Health and Safety regulations.
Experience and Knowledge
* High degree working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
* Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
* Good attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Be able to understand written and verbal communications.
* Good, general administrative skills.
* PC literate with proficient and accurate keyboard skills.
* Flexible working approach and ability to work on own as well as part of a team.
* Experience of working to tight deadlines.
* Have a confident telephone manner.
* Good written communication skills.
