Job Title: Group Chief Estates and Facilities Officer
The Group Chief Estates and Facilities Officer is a full Executive (non-voting) Director of the Lincolnshire Community Health Services Trust & United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals Trust (the Group) and a member of the unitary Group Board.
As a key member of the Group Board and Group Executive Leadership team, the officer is expected to work as part of an integrated team and take lead responsibility for strategic and corporate issues both within and external to their immediate portfolio, making a major contribution to the achievement of the Group's vision and strategic goals.
The Group Chief Estates and Facilities Officer will have accountability for the strategic estate development, facilities, and associated capital investment programme.
The officer will be the Group's most senior responsible person for ensuring suitable and sufficient governance arrangements are embedded into the department, providing assurance to the Group Chief Executive and Group Board of Directors, including statutory and other risks that impact the delivery of a safe, responsive, cost-effective service.
As a member of the Group Executive Leadership team, the officer will contribute to key business decisions and to the development, communication, and promotion of the Group's purpose, vision, aims, and objectives.
The officer will lead in developing an Estates strategy for the Group and provide strategic direction to Hard & Soft FM services.
The Estates Strategy must address the needs of clinical and other accommodation users, support positive patient choice, and ensure land, buildings, and equipment are in the right place, in the right condition, fit for purpose, and responsive to future needs.
The officer will be responsible for the delivery and management of:
* Major and block allocation capital schemes
* Minor and additional works
* Backlog Maintenance schemes
