Our Rochdale-based client is seeking a Temporary Customer Service Agent to support their team during a busy summer period (circa 3 month). This role offers a flexible hybrid working pattern, free parking, and a welcoming team environment.
This role offers an immediate start.
THE JOB
What you’ll be doing:
Handling customer enquiries across multiple channels – via phone, email, live chat, and online marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, TikTok)
Processing orders, returns, payments, warranty claims, and replacements accurately and efficiently
Tracking deliveries and managing parcel investigations and courier claims
Resolving issues within agreed timeframes, ensuring clear communication and customer satisfaction throughout
Maintaining accurate records and providing follow-up support where needed
THE PERSON
What we’re looking for:
At least 1 year of experience in online customer service, ideally in a contact centre or e-commerce environment
Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
Comfortable using CRM tools and familiar with online platforms such as Amazon, eBay, and TikTok
Calm and patient when handling challenging situations
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
Flexible and dependable, with a willingness to cover additional shifts if required
