Teaching personnel is working with secondary schools in Northampton to recruit a full-time Cover supervisor to start as soon as possible.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is confident, organised, and passionate about working with young people. You will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absence, ensuring students stay on task and follow the work set.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising whole classes across a range of subjects.
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Ensuring students remain engaged and complete set work.
- Reporting back to teaching staff on lesson progress and behaviour
The ideal candidate will
- Have experience working with young people (school- based experience preferred).
- Be confident managing a classroom environment.
- Have strong communication and organisational skills.
- Be reliable, professional, and adaptable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
