We are looking for a personal care assistant for our client who is a 45-year-old woman with a long-term physical disability. Our client currently has a team of carers and is looking for another person to join the team
Our client is looking for someone who is motivated, practical, with a positive outlook and a can‑do attitude to help her to maintain her independence at home, and out and about. The right person for this role will be flexible as there is holiday and emergency cover available also. Times and days to be discussed and agreed with the applicant. There will be personal care as part of this role also.
Our client has limited mobility, and you will be supporting her to maintain her independence. Part of this role will also involve some personal care. Being a driver is essential to allow our client to get out and about in her own vehicle.
Applicants must have a caring attitude, be honest and kind, have a good sense of humour, be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work. Having experience within this area would be of benefit but is not essential. Duties & Responsibilities:
* Assist with personal care and mobility
* Drive the client’s own vehicle for outings
* Help with daily routines and independence at home
* Cover shifts flexibly, including sleepovers
* Provide companionship and consistent support
* Experience is helpful but not required. You’ll need a kind, honest approach and be flexible with your time.
