ThePharmaceutical Journal is currently seeking an ambitiousand tenacious journalist to lead on our investigations output. Thisrole presents an exceptional opportunity to work with anawardwinning team of journalists while elevating your profile inhealth journalism. As our investigations editor you will beinstrumental in producing exclusive news stories and conductingindepth revelatory investigative features. You will also have achance to use and develop your editing skills with both news andlongform pieces and your work will play a crucial role in sheddinglight on health policy issues.
We are looking fora seasoned journalist with at least three years of experience inbreaking exclusive news stories ideally within thehealth/scientific sector. Your portfolio should showcase yourinvestigative journalism skills and your knack for writing longformanalysispieces.
Requirements:
Essential
* Proven experience in investigative journalism and writinglongform analysis pieces.
* A strong news senseand a keen interest in health policy.
* Exceptional organisational skills and ability to workunder tight deadlines.
* Excellent communicationand decisionmaking skills.
* Demonstratedwritingability.
Desirable
* A recognised journalism qualification.
* Evidence of successfully managingpeople.

* The Pharmaceutical Journal is anintegral department of Pharmaceutical Press the publishing divisionof the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. The department comprises fourbusiness functions: product editorial business development andproduction with a brilliant team of editors journalists and productpeople constantly looking to do new things and improve our productsand how we work.
* We employ a mix of businessmodels across our portfolio of products from membershipsubscriptions advertising and sponsorship ensuring that theportfolio remains fully aligned to the larger organisationalmission and vision of the Royal PharmaceuticalSociety.
Howwe are currentlyworking
RPSsupports and works in a hybrid way which means you will be able towork from home however there will be an expectation forcollaborative facetoface working on average and typically this maybe something between 48 working days per month at our LondonOffice.
