JUPITER+ Dundee is a creative satellite programme by Jupiter Artland that will bring a world class contemporary installation by Lindsey Mendick to the High Street of Dundee. Titled ‘Growing Pains’, Lindsey Mendicks work contains subversive ceramics with often outrageous and confronting imagery. She is the voice of the vulnerable, confronting issues she faced as a teenager.
Integral to the programme is the JUPITER+ Dundee Learning studio. This purpose build studio space will deliver inspirational and transformative creative learning driven by the passion of young people. JUPITER+ will spark creativity and conversations that empower individuals to drive change through agency and creative activism.
We are seeking up to 4 Learning assistants to work from 1 to 5 days a week during the day and occasional evening and weekends, September to December 2025, flexible working pattern available
About the role
We are seeking to recruit dynamic creatives to facilitate engagement and learning within our purpose built Learning Studio. This role would suit applicants seeking to embark on a career in learning and develop their delivery experience.
Support and guidance will be given throughout the project to enable successful candidates to reflect and develop their skills. The Learning team will be based in the Learning Studio delivering workshops to schools, colleges and community groups. Workshops will focus on critical analysis and practical making centred around time-based media and sculptural processes. Training in these areas will be provided however we are keen to seek candidates that have a confident working knowledge of video or model making processes.
