About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Pupil Support Worker to support Key Stage 1 pupils with SEN. You will help children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally, ensuring they receive the support they need to reach their potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one or small group support for KS1 pupils with SEN
* Assist teachers with differentiated learning activities and interventions
* Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development
* Encourage engagement, positive behaviour, and confidence in learning
* Work closely with class teachers, SENCO, and other staff to monitor progress
* Maintain accurate records of interventions and pupil progress
* Foster a nurturing, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements
* Experience working with young children, ideally KS1 or EYFS
* Experience supporting pupils with SEN or additional needs
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Empathy, patience, and a positive, nurturing approach
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil well being
