Job Title: TRAM Test Equipment Engineer - Electrical

Salary:
Up to £52,000 depending on skills and experience
What you'll be doing:
1. Diagnosing a wide range of complex Special to Type Test Equipment to component level where applicable with limited technical support.
2. Influencing and delivering design obsolescence tasks, implementing new electrical hardware at Broad Oak and customer locations where required.
3. Leading and performing a range of development activities including producing design schemes, circuit diagrams, wiring schedules, design documentation, specifications, and other test process tasks.
4. Compiling and approving engineering designs, changes, tasks, and concession actions.
5. Owning in-service support and test equipment responsibilities.
6. Involved in the design and safety of the Spearfish and Sting Ray Torpedo Test Equipment, ensuring work conforms with company, project, national, and international standards and procedures.
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Test equipment/hardware design or calibration & maintenance background.
* Qualified in a relevant engineering or closely related discipline to HNC/HND/Degree level or time served equivalent.
* Experience in repair & investigation of test equipment.
* Understanding of drawings and circuit diagrams.

Test Equipment TRAM Team:
As a test equipment engineer, you will support the Spearfish and Sting Ray test equipment used as part of the UK defense systems, supporting the lead test equipment engineer in daily activities to ensure test equipment availability and support the wider torpedo in-service support group.
