A thriving Engineering business in the Greater Manchester area are looking to recruit a talented Control Systems Engineer to design and implement a rangeof complex Control & Automation systems .
Reporting to the Engineering Director, the chosen Control Systems Engineer will work on the full lifecycle of state-of-the-art Automated / Special Purpose Machinery used in manufacturing plants across the globe. The role involves everything from customer liaison, specifications,PLC/HMI development, documentation and test & validation. There are also occasional travel opportunities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Control/Automation Systems Engineer to work as part of vibrant team of engineers on interesting products.
Control Systems Engineer requirements:
Degree or HND/C level in Engineering, Computing (or similar)
Proven PLC development experience in industry ideally Siemens or Allen Bradley
Robotics experience highly beneficial
Computer based programming skills (VB .Net, C# etc.) desirable but not essential
It is not essential you have all the above skills, but extremely desirable if you do. The role is flexible and there are areas of development on offer.
