Gentech Recruitment is partnering with a client based in Newtownabbey to recruit a Contracts Manager. The successful candidate will work with an established commercial project management team and an in-house M&E design team utilizing Revit, AutoCAD, and MEP 3D design packages.
Responsibilities
1. Manage and develop project delivery teams to ensure timely project completion.
2. Maintain regular communication with clients through online or face-to-face meetings and on-site discussions to ensure satisfaction and project forecasts.
3. Ensure efficiency of managers and site teams, with clear high-level objectives set for achievement within target dates.
4. Ensure project values, drawings, specifications, and orders are agreed upon and in place before works commence.
5. Coordinate with project delivery teams to populate high-level templates and set out for construction, including material and dependency trackers.
6. Procure plant and equipment according to specifications and client requirements.
7. Forecast project expenditure at the outset and communicate projections to Operations and Commercial teams.
8. Assess labor and subcontractor requirements for installation work and team expansion.
9. Review and assist in the preparation and evaluation of monthly applications and claims.
10. Attend monthly meetings to discuss team performance and project budgets.
11. Assist in preparing O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and associated certificates upon project completion.
12. Track project performance weekly and report progress to the client.
13. Work with the Operations Manager to forecast additional resource needs.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
* Previous management experience in a similar role.
* Ability to take ownership and demonstrate growth willingness.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
* Punctuality, reliability, and trustworthiness.
* Management experience delivering projects ranging from £3m - £10m.
