Due to expansion of our workforce, we are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Salaried GP (4- 6 sessions per week) to join our friendly, supportive, and well-established team at Port Glasgow Medical Centre.
This role would suit a GP interested in working within an area of socio-economic deprivation, offering both significant professional challenges and rewarding clinical experience. We warmly welcome applications from newly qualified GPs as well as experienced GPs seeking a fresh and fulfilling role. We are willing to wait for the right person.
About the Practice
We are located in Port Glasgow, we are approximately 20 minutes from Glasgow city centre, with excellent access to the M8. Our current practice list size is just over 5,000 patients.
We have an excellent reputation for GP training, with a strong emphasis on practice development and quality improvement.
We are supported by an excellent multidisciplinary team including:
1. Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
2. Community Links Worker
3. Primary Care Mental Health Team (CPN)
4. Advanced Practice Physiotherapist
5. Highly experienced and long-standing inhouse team of administrative staff, practice nurse and healthcare assistant
In addition, we:
6. Provide care to a local nursing home under the Care Home LES
7. Deliver Opiate Replacement Therapy (ORT)via our Shared Care Clinic
We offer:

9. Vision & Docmanclinical systems
10. 6 weeks annual leave
11. Medical Defence fees paid by the practice
12. No QOF / No CQC
13. Salary in line with BMA rates, dependent on experience or additional skills
(Salary £10-11K depending on experience)
