Our client is an established family run Fleet business leasing and contract car hire, that are known to offer a totally personal service to their customer to take the stress and complication of leasing or hiring cars for their clients in business. They have a passion for giving exceptional service to their longstanding and new clients. They are looking for a Business Development Manager who can open new doors, contact clients on their existing base, build relationships to grow existing business. They want ‘quality calls and building relationships’ with SME’s nationwide. (the potential earnings are endless for the right person with drive and enthusiasm.) What you will do day to day - Key Responsibilities: * Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and develop new business opportunities in the SME market – via existing prospecting databases, and attending local business networking meetings * Client Relationship Management: Form, maintain and grow relationships with customers, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and retention * Proposal Development: Prepare tailored quotations, proposals, and leasing solutions that meet client needs and comply with FCA regulations * Negotiation: Handle contract negotiation with clients * Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, forecasts, and CRM updates * Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all activities and contracts comply with legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements Role Summary: As a Business Development Manager, you will be given online training with the BVRLA and our funders to comply with FCA regulations, on an ongoing basis You will play a pivotal role in driving growth across our contract hire and vehicle leasing B2B brokerage services, for both cars and light commercial vehicles You will build strong relationships, identify sales opportunities, and manage the full leasing cycle from lead generation through to deal closure, and account management during the term of the Agreements. It would be an advantage if you have knowledge of the car industry but this is not essential for the right person
