Overview
Operations Manager - Liverpool Civil and Family Court. The role is based in Liverpool and involves strategic oversight of Liverpool Civil and Family Court, supporting the Cluster Manager to meet operational needs and deliver cluster performance objectives. You will lead a team of Delivery Managers to provide a consistent and customer-focused service, drive collaboration across the cluster, deploy resources effectively and manage an allocated budget to control expenditure and drive efficiencies.
Responsibilities
* Provide strategic oversight of Liverpool Civil and Family Court within the HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) NW region.
* Lead a team of Delivery Managers to deliver a customer-focused service and ensure efficient operations.
* Collaborate with other Operations Managers in the cluster to manage conflicting demands and re-prioritise local and regional goals as required.
* Ensure effective deployment of resources and management of an allocated budget to achieve cluster performance objectives.

Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in a senior operations or management role, preferably in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
* Strong leadership skills with a track record of leading teams through change.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to maintain relationships at all levels.
* Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
Additional Details
These operational roles are customer facing and office-based to provide HMCTS services to the public. Standard full-time hours are 37 per week; part-time, flexible and job-sharing patterns are welcomed where they meet role demands and are agreed prior to appointment.
Working arrangements may include hybrid working, with an expectation to spend a minimum of 60% of time in an office, subject to local estate capacity.
Nationally advertised roles: appointments to the nearest viable office to the candidate’s home postcode, on its pay scale, at a HQ building, Justice Collaboration Centre (JCC) or Justice Satellite Office (JSO).
Flexibility in terms and conditions of service may apply under Civil Service reform. Details will be provided if an offer is made.
