Job Title - Integrations Technical Support Analyst Location - UK (Reading) Work Type - Hybrid Work Model - 6 Months Contract Job Description: Our primary function is in support of existing systems and integrations, tracking and fulfilling critical operational metrics alongside error handling and resolution. Aside from production support and change management, you will be given the opportunity to tackle a wide range of activities such as data extraction, integration, scripting, automation, and reporting. Once you have proven yourself in operations support you will be invited to work alongside experienced colleagues across all aspects of the software development cycle on a diverse technology stack; you will get the chance to own new developments end-to-end from initial scoping of business requirements right through development into test and final deployment. This role provides ample scope for self-starters from an operational support background who have an interest in technology and development to contribute to the on-going evolution while simultaneously growing their own skills on a technically focused career path within a dynamic and rewarding operations environment. Essential requirements: oWorkday integration experience oWorkday HCM core basic knowledge oUKG/Kronos integration experience oWorkday functional knowledge oGood knowledge of XML and XSLT transformations alongside other general web-based technologies such as html, JavaScript/ jQuery, SQL and general database knowledge oA background with programming language skills (Java or C) alongside scripting experience (PHP/ASP/C#/PYTHON or similar) would be a distinct advantage oDirect experience scheduling, running, debugging, error trapping on data flows within a regulated industry production environment on tight SLAs a significant advantage oWorkday Studio experience oStrong communication skills oFluent English speaker educated with a qualification in computing science/ systems or equivalent industry experience oStrong awareness of processes around change management, ticketing, testing and operation support metrics and responsibilities oUnderstanding of and practical experience with key technical pillars such as file formats, data transfer protocols like FTP and APIs, web services, integration concepts & engines oPractical and effective problem solving and analytical skills with an ability to translate requirements and process logic into actionable code and functional requirements oWorked in an operational support environment oA background in operations and systems support within a regulated industry or on systems such as payroll oCertification for Workday integrations or equivalent demonstratable experience in authoring Workday integrations (connectors, EIBs and studio) would be a major benefit The Ideal candidate will have: oA pro-active can do approach along with good accuracy, focus and attention to detail oStrong communication skills - including excellent interpersonal, customer facing skills oWell-developed planning and organisation skills including the ability to plan and prioritise their work schedule according to given priorities and to deliver work within agreed timescales oA procedure driven work methodology and the ability to work using their own initiative, completing assigned tasks on schedule without being micromanaged oA strong interest in investigating new technologies and skills
