CHG_MERIDIAN is looking for an 'A-Player' Operations Team Lead, who is a well-rounded individual that combines expertise, passion, integrity, and innovation to ensure the seamless and efficient processing of all activities, including but not limited to End of Lease Activities, Customer service, in-life query management, Lease schedule, and Acceptance certificate creation.
As an Operations Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing and developing the Operations (OPS) Team in the UK/Ireland region, with a focus on the local market. The role serves as a key decision-maker and escalation point for the local operations team, overseeing general control across all operational activities.
Areas of Responsibility
Critical Controlling & Performance Steering:
* Identify driving factors and actions to resolve issues or improve performance
* Prioritize key tasks across the operations specialist team
* Highlight patterns or risks to relevant stakeholders (e.g., monthly business reviews)
* Perform performance management and trend analysis
* Maintain accurate data in relevant systems to support project requirements
* Collaborate with local Customer Experience Specialists to address operational pain points and implement process improvements
* Identify process improvement opportunities, including automation where possible
Regional Alignment & Local Engagement:
* Increase standardization of deals to reduce questions and handling time
* Prioritize pain-point initiatives and allocate resources accordingly
* Contribute local operational reporting to regional reports
* Represent operations in local workshops with key stakeholders
Team Administration & Representation:
* Provide periodic updates on the local operations team's development
* Coach and develop team members to meet performance and growth goals
* Represent the team in regional and relevant stakeholder meetings
Required Skills
* Deep understanding of back-office and after-sales operations processes; leasing background is a plus
* Strong knowledge of CHG solutions, customer service management, and related leasing or after-sales services
* Understanding of asset/I.T fleet management and leasing options
* Knowledge of Lease Rate Factors application and lease payment calculations
* Familiarity with contractual requirements and leasing models
* Operational deal coordination ('War Room' approach) with stakeholders
* Ability to perform detailed opportunity calculations and pricing
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Fast turnaround and workload prioritization skills
* Excellent customer service skills, especially in written communication
* Stakeholder management skills, coordinating across teams and departments
* Consultative approach to advising customers and sales teams
* Negotiation and persuasion skills to drive operational outcomes
