The Team & Focus of the Role Our Infrastructure Services team continue to go from strength to strength and as such, we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Assistant to come and join our expanding team in Ashford. This role would suit an individual who excels in delivering exceptional support and has strong administrative and coordination skills. You will be involved in liaising with internal and external stakeholders as well as supporting surveyors in the office with various land consultancy tasks associated with infrastructure projects. This is a permanent, full-time position (Mon-Fri), based in our Ashford office within our hybrid working policy. Enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave An online money saving portal Death In Service cover, alongside access to an Employee Assistance Programme which includes health appointments for you and your family Volunteering Leave equating to 2 days per year (pro rata if you’re part-time) Duties will include: Supporting the wider team including other project assistants and surveyors in land matters associated with energy infrastructure projects Supporting surveyors in the office in various land consultancy tasks associated with infrastructure projects and project delivery extending but not limited to: land referencing activities to identify land ownership and land designations and the production of grantor schedules. Undertaking initial communication with landowners regarding project proposals Assisting surveyors with the production of legal and land consents documents to enable project delivery. Supporting on-site record of condition surveys on behalf of surveyors. Supporting on-site meetings with surveyors or other team members. Working with and developing strong relationships with multiple clients to enable successful project delivery. Developing key stakeholder relationships to enable good client service Working alongside the office partner and wider Ashford team to create client workload and workstream opportunities to further continue the development and growth of the office. Undertaking adhoc duties as required to support the wider Ashford Team The successful candidate will have Have excellent organisational skills, and is confident working to deadlines Meticulous attention to detail Be confident with using Microsoft Office, with great IT skills Strong problem-solving skills Clear and professional communication styles with an excellent telephone manner in discussion with both clients and grantors An ability to work calmly under pressure An effective team player adding value by contributing to office environment and culture. A willingness to travel to attend site meetings, client and Fisher German offices and training events as required. Previous experience in an infrastructure role and/or project delivery is desirable but not essential. A willingness to commit to undertake any further training and development as required for the role and the wider business. Why Fisher German?
