A leading global investment firm is seeking a Business Development Director to support their Insurance Distribution function. This sales role ideal for someone who thrives on building and deepening relationships, as well as driving new business.
Reporting directly to the Global Head of Insurance and supported by a dedicated client relationship management team, you will:
* Manage and grow relationships with existing clients.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
* Lead prospect pitches and marketing initiatives.
* Collaborate closely with colleagues across Distribution and investment teams to support business growth.
* Contribute to sales and business planning strategies.
* Represent the firm at industry events.
* Provide insights to help shape products and services in line with client needs and market developments.
Skills and Experience Required:
1. Proven track record in insurance sales with an entrepreneurial mindset and drive to deliver commercial results.
2. Experience in both Private and Public markets distribution preferred.
3. Deep understanding of key investor issues, including investment and regulatory challenges for UK institutional investors and insurers.
