Area Sales Manager – Garden Products (Growing Media)
£35-40,000 Basic + Commission + Choice of Company Car or Car Allowance
The Company

* Have heavily invested in technology and operations
* Supply garden centres across the UK
The Role
* Area sales role covering the North West region
* To successfully manage existing accounts – independent garden centres
* To also actively prospect for new business within the garden centre channel
* To effectively and efficiently manage and grow a large sales territory
* To consistently hit/exceed all KPIs and targets set
The Person
* Candidates must have experience of selling to independent garden centres
* Must be excellent relationship developers with a track record of successfully managing existing accounts
* Must also be proactive with experience of generating new business within the garden centre channel
* Must have experience of selling to relevant buyers within garden centresCandidates should therefore come from a related category eg compost, growing media, peat, peat free, soil, turf, plants, seeds and bulbs, landscaping products, garden chemicals / fertilisers, mulch, manure, possibly pets, possibly garden tools or possibly plant pots and planters
* Must live close to the M62 corridor, ideally towards the west side
