Tardis Environmental UK Ltd is a well‑established company specialising in waste and water services across the UK. We carry out site set‑ups and installations of temporary site welfare offices, toilets blocks, and cabins throughout the country, and offer a range of electrical hire items that require testing and maintenance between hires.
Position Overview
The role is for an Electrician/Fitter based at our Telford depot. Applicants must hold a 19th Edition licence and be fully qualified and competent to carry out electrical maintenance.
Responsibilities
* Conduct PAT testing on hire equipment, including portable toilets & pumps.
* Attend plant breakdowns and provide electrical support on site.
* Set up plant equipment, cabins, and office blocks – training will be provided.
* Work alongside plumbers or water technicians on 2‑man specific jobs.
* Perform various other duties outside of electrical work as needed.
Qualifications
* 19th Edition licence.
* NVQ or Level 2/3 college courses in electrical work.
* Fully qualified and competent in electrical maintenance.
* Capacity to undertake diverse duties and work collaboratively.
Salary and Work Hours
Salary:£18.50 per hour – negotiable based on experience.
Hours: Minimum 40 per week; overtime available, especially during busy periods. Travel may be required, with occasional overnight stays in a hotel, including a meal voucher or cash alternative for an eatery of your choice.
Company Equipment
Van, mobile phone, and uniform will be provided.
