Many schools in Rugby are currently looking for confident and adaptable KS2 supply teachers who can provide consistent, effective classroom cover across Years 3–6. Roles range from short‑notice daily supply to longer‑term placements, with flexibility to suit your availability.
Your new role
1. Delivering engaging, well‑structured lessons that maintain continuity of learning across KS2 classes.
2. Following school policies and using provided planning where available, while adapting your approach to meet the needs of different year groups.
3. Supporting pupils with varied abilities, ensuring lessons remain purposeful and inclusive.
4. Managing behaviour positively and maintaining a calm, productive classroom environment.
5. Demonstrating professionalism, reliability and a proactive attitude as part of the wider schoolmunity.
What you'll need to succeed
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
7. Experience teaching within KS2, with the confidence to step into different year groups as required.
8. Strong behaviour management and the ability to build rapport quickly with pupils and staff.
9. Good understanding of the KS2 curriculum and the ability to deliver high‑quality teaching with limited preparation time.
10. Clearmunication skills and a flexible, collaborative approach.
